I am the 9th and youngest child of Marion (Cole) and Vallie Stone from Lawler, Iowa. I started, own, and manage cru9; a California micro-winery. The climate and soil of Martinelli Vineyard yields wines of power and complexity as well as subtlety and elegance. The aromas are an integrated blend of lemon curd, vanilla and a touch of smoke, balanced with crisp acidity, rich mouthfeel and a powerful finish. Fermenting in French oak barrels followed by aging for twelve months, cloak the wine with additional complexity and a silky mouthfeel.
Fresh, delicate with classic Pinot Noir color, integrated balance of rose petals, spice and ripe cherries jump out as you taste the wine. Aging the wine for nine months in French Oak barrels provide further balance, and complexity.
