Brilliant straw color. Aromas immediately lend a lemon citrus core with tree fruits of pear and crisp apple lined with a floral note of gardenia. The grapes are from the Martinelli and Barnwell Vineyard. French oak is balanced and integrated with hints of brioche and toast. On the palate there is a focused purity in acidity and round mouth feel with minerality and crispness. The finish is refreshing and leaves an elegant lingering mouth feel. This Chardonnay would be ideal with seafood, cream sauces, roasted chicken, white fish, zesty vegetable dishes, mild gouda and farmhouse cheeses.
